Part 5: Imposter Syndrome & Aura Mechanics
Why Projectors and Manifestors Often Feel Like Frauds (Even When They’re Not)
Imposter Syndrome isn’t always about self-doubt, it can stem from energetic misalignment.
For Projectors and Manifestors, this feeling often has less to do with mindset… and more to do with aura mechanics.
These two non-sacral types are uniquely designed to operate differently from the rest of the world. And when they try to keep up with the “sacral pace” of the Generators or override their natural rhythm and strategy, they often feel broken, behind, or like they’re faking their way through life.
Let’s explore what’s really going on beneath the surface:
Projector Aura: Focused + Penetrating
Strategy: Wait for the Invitation
Theme When Out of Alignment: Bitterness
Projectors are designed to see deeply into others. Your aura isn’t here to broadcast. It’s here to focus, guide, and illuminate.
However, when you're not recognized, invited, or rested enough, it can feel like you're shouting into a void. You begin to question:
- “Why can’t they see what I bring to the table?”
- “Maybe I’m not as insightful as I thought…”
- “Do I even have anything valuable to offer?”
That’s the opening for Imposter Syndrome.
When you’re pushing to prove your value, instead of being seen for your value, it’s easy to spiral. But here’s the truth:
You’re not meant to hustle.
You’re not designed to chase recognition.
You’re here to be invited in, and in that invitation, your brilliance is revealed.
As someone who has spent decades mentoring women in direct selling, I can tell you this:
I attract a lot of Projectors, and many of them are burned out, bitter, and confused as to why the old model of pushing and proving no longer works.
They’ve been taught that hustle equals success. That visibility equals worth.
So when they hear, “Wait for the invitation,” it feels wildly counterintuitive.
Like… What? How am I supposed to grow a business by waiting?
How in the world could I just do what I love and expect things to work out?
And yet … it does.
When they slow down, align with what brings them joy, and share from a place of truth, and not pressure, something beautiful starts to happen:
The right people notice.
The right invitations come.
And the bitterness begins to fade.
Projectors: Your power is not in the hustle. It’s in your vision.
When you stop chasing the spotlight and trust your timing, your natural magnetism takes the lead, and your natural theme of Success shows up for you.
Manifestor Aura: Impactful + Magnetizing/Repelling
Strategy: Inform & Initiate
Theme When Out of Alignment: Anger
Manifestors are here to make waves, not wait for permission. You’re the initiators of the world, and you’re designed to move first, trust your urges, and create impact. However, that’s not how most of us are raised.
I know this deeply … because I’m a Manifestor.
As a child, I was always in trouble for “just doing things.” I wasn’t taught to inform before I acted. I would feel the urge, follow it, and then get reprimanded, scolded, or shut down.
It didn’t take long for me to internalize the message:
“I’m wrong.”
Wrong for being bold. Wrong for taking initiative. Wrong for not asking first.
After a while, I started to swing between extremes:
People pleaser: trying to keep the peace, stay small, be liked.
Rebel: ignoring everyone, doing what I wanted, and daring someone to stop me.
The problem? Neither felt good.
Both made me angry. And not just outwardly - I carried that fire internally.
That’s the signature wound for Manifestors:
When you’re cut off from your inner authority - your spontaneous creative spark - you either bottle it or explode with it. And in both cases, imposter syndrome can creep in.
You start to doubt:
- “Is it safe to lead?”
- “Will I be rejected again if I initiate?”
- “Do I even know what I’m doing?”
But here’s the truth I had to reclaim, and maybe you do too:
Your urges are sacred.
Your energy was never meant to ask permission.
You’re not here to be understood before you act. You’re here to inform (which is not the same as asking for permission!), and then initiate (when your Authority says yes, boldly follow your inner urges).
When you honor that rhythm, life starts moving again. Not always with ease, but with alignment. And when you’re aligned, your power returns - without the pressure to prove it.
Final Thoughts: You’re Not an Imposter - You’re Just Misaligned
For Projectors, imposter syndrome often stems from:
- Not being invited or seen
- Overworking and trying to prove worth
- Offering insight where it’s not welcomed or invited in
For Manifestors, it’s often about:
- Fear of initiating without support
- Suppressing your urges to avoid conflict
- Distrusting your own voice and timing
But the truth is:
You’re not broken.
You’re not behind.
You’re not a fraud.
You’re simply brushing up against a world that wasn’t built to honor your design.
However, when you return to your strategy: wait to be invited (Projector) or inform and initiate (Manifestor), you begin to feel like yourself again. Your clarity returns. Your confidence rises. And the imposter voice fades into the background.
